FLINT, Mich. (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union is threatening to sue the city of Flint if it doesn't stop preventing
police officers from speaking with the media. The ACLU's Michigan chapter has sent a letter to interim Flint
Police Chief David Dicks on behalf of two officers who were disciplined. The Detroit Free Press says they publicly criticized the appointments of Dicks as chief ... his father, Richard, as "super chief" overseeing police and fire departments ... and Deputy Police Chief David Forystek.
The ACLU says it will pursue the case in federal court if it isn't resolved by August 4th.
