Longtime Frankenmuth businessman Wally Bronner has written to the staff at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland that he is preparing to say goodbye.  Bronner's letter states, "The loving Lord and Savior, the Christ of Christmas is ready to receive me into His heavenly kingdom."   Bronner has been battling inoperable cancer. 

Bronner who was born in Frankenmuth in 1927,  has been associated with his Christmas decoration store since the early 1950's. The current Bronner's CHRISTmas WONDERLAND sits on a 45 acre site on Frankenmuth's south side where it's been since 1977.  It attracts tourists from around the world.

Bronner has been married to his wife Irene since 1951 and has four children along with many grandchildren and extended family.
