Robert Bill says oxygen bottles were exploding and flying in the air as he tried to get his wife out of their burning home. Smoke detectors going off in his home at 1027 Chestnut Street woke Bill up about 8:00 Wednesday morning. His wife Ann Potts who's on home oxygen, was taken to a Saginaw hospital to be checked for smoke inhalation.
Saginaw fire investigators hadn't immediately determined the cause the fire. It is considered accidental. The house on Saginaw's southwest side was destroyed. |
