For more than 60 years, Flint area residents and business looked for the latest in lighting fixtures at the Michael Lynn Gallery.  Wednesday morning the building at 3036 West Pierson Road became a burned-out shell after flames raced through it.  Fire crews were pulled from the building when it became too dangerous to have fire crews inside.

The Mount Morris Township business offered a catalog with more than 20,000 light fixtures.  Firefighters said some 3,200 fixtures hanging from the showroom ceiling hampered efforts to fight the fire.  Twelve fire departments were on the scene throughout the night.
