Rob Robinson

G.E. "Rob" Robinson, Sr., a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has been with WSGW since late 2001. Rob works as on-air board operator/announcer. He sometimes assists the chief engineer with maintenance of the five stations at NextMedia and also the Traffic Department with affidavit processing.
Rob is a retired U.S. Navy veteran who, for more than 20 years, has served in many parts of the United States and most of the world, including active participation in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. A former Navy telecommunications specialist, Rob says that working in the radio broadcast media field is a "natural fit" since the job complements some of the work he's done in the Navy.
Rob is a graduate of Delta College who continues to further his educational goals. He is married to beautiful Cleveland, Ohio native, Joyce and they have one son, Gerald (Lil' G) II. |
